Playgroup

In place of monthly enrichment, our ward has started interest groups. One group we started is playgroup. It met for the first time today and we were thinking of different ideas for outings and for the winter months. We are fortunate that it is warm here for a long time so we can go to the park several times, but are looking for other things to do. Any suggestions?

Sarah--
We always loved having holiday parties. We usually had one each month at the church with crafts, snacks and games related to the holiday or season. We also took tours of the fire station, Dairy Queen, a bread store and a few other places that were nice enough to let us come. There are often a lot of local places that do tours. And of course, we loved trips to the zoo, the pumpkin patch, berry or apple picking and other fun things. I liked when we went on outings to places that I might not have gone alone with my kids. Have fun planning!
