This is my first year at canning and so far I have loved it. We canned cherries, apricots, peaches and salsa so far. I can't wait to make applesauce at the end of the month. It has been really rewarding to know we will have yummy fruit when winter comes.

I canned for the first time this year too! I put up 47 jars of peaches. I sure think hearing the pop is cool! One of mine didn't pop,it was devistating :) We will show those pioneers who is boss, eh?
BTW- Jon and Kevin's conversation at the baby blessing sure got Kevin's wheels spinning!
